Win cash or luxury and practical gift items for Christmas!
Guests will have many opportunities to win cash or popular holiday gift items for their loved ones, friends, and themselves. All prizes will reflect an impressive mix of new – still in the box or shrink-wrapped – or gently used items that will appeal to all.
Our auctions and raffles are designed to be fair and fun. As with any non-profit organization, monies raised from these activities are designed to support the operating expenses of our parish. So good luck and thank you for participating!
Main Raffle
Increase your chances of winning popular electronics – purchased new – with each purchase of a $10 booklet containing 10 tickets. This is only $1 per raffle ticket! Tickets will be collected all weekend, with the winning tickets drawn after 3 PM Sunday, November 13. Additionally, you may pre-purchase booklets starting Friday, October 21. 50/50 Cash Raffle
If electronics don't appeal to you, you can always go for the cash. It is simple: One winner will keep 50% of the total amount collected for the weekend. In 2010, a total of –1,038 was collected with the winner taking home –614. Tickets can be purchased the weekend of the bazaar; unlike the main raffle, there will be no ticket pre-purchases allowed. The winner will be drawn and announced after 3 PM Sunday, November 13.
Silent Auction Raffle
The Silent Auction will feature 50 items ranging from luxury products to practical goods, such as brand-name crystal (e.g. Lenox or Mikasa) and handbags (e.g. Brahmin) to dinnerware, kitchen appliances, decorative pillows, linen tablecloths, Christmas decorations, jewelry, and even two catered events!
Bidding will start at $5 for each item. There will be two bidding sessions:
• Session 1: Friday, November 11 at 5 PM to Saturday, November 12 at 6 PM
• Session 2: Sunday, November 13 from 11 AM to 3 PM
Winners will be announced and contacted on Saturday after 6 PM (for session 1) and Sunday after 3 PM (session 2).

Penny Social Raffle
Also known as a "Chinese Auction," a Penny Social is the combination of a raffle and a silent auction. Guests purchase tickets and may place as many tickets as they wish toward their desired item(s).
This year's Penny Social will feature nearly 50, thoughtfully arranged gift baskets – perfect holiday gifts for friends, family members, or co-workers – that will appeal to coffee and tea lovers, sports enthusiasts, new parents, parents of young children and teens, movie buffs, home improvement doers, chocolate lovers, and many other interests. A few examples of available gift baskets include:
A Newborn Baby Girl Basket stocked with diapers, wipes, onesies, sleep sacks, pacifiers, a $25 gift certificate to Babies R Us, and more.
An Italian Food Basket filled with pasta from Naples, Italy, black olive dip, oregano spices, tomato sauce, olive oil, a $25-gift card to Trattoria Romana restaurants in Lincoln and Wakefield, RI, and more.
A Boy Basket (appropriate for ages 6 to 12) with gym bag, basketball, tennis racket and balls, Nerf flag football set, baseball and bat, a $25 gift certificate to Dick's Sporting Goods and more.
Purchase a booklet of 20 tickets for just $10! Each basket will have its own ticket bin to accept (bids). Bidding will begin Friday at 5 PM and continue throughout the weekend until 3 PM Sunday, November 13, at which time the Penny Social will be closed and the winners announced or contacted.
